In 2009/2010 I wrote a book about an ordinary gal who gets tricked by her evil boss into taking his place in Hell when his Deal with the Devil comes due. A very attractive Reaper is sent to do the scything.

The Reaper novel/potential series landed me a revise and resubmit and eventually an agent. As of September 2011, I have been represented by Rosemary Stimola, who also reps, among other things, The Hunger Games. 

Rosemary shopped my Reaper series around. Summer 2012 saw it contracted by Simon & Schuster's Pocket Star imprint. The first 3 books in the series are releasing summer 2013. As of today, December 2012, I'm knee deep in editing books 1 & 2 which were already written, and writing book 3, which was not.

No, it's not my dog that's fractured, it's my brain. Sure, you do it, too. Sing customized songs to your dogs and cats, right?

This morning at the dog park, the dogs disappeared for a few minutes. Upon their return, I could tell they're flouted my, "No swamp!" edict.

Here's what inspired the song. Billie does not usually have dark brown shading around her left eye.
