I haven't trusted Amazon for a long time, and I see my mistrust was justified.

I think they mean well (e.g., are profit oriented) but really are ham-handed in terms of implementation.

They own the e-commerce segment of cyberspace; they got cocky. Let's hope they pay a little more attention now.
