While my latest WIP, known as FIENDS, is out with my pal Kate for beta, I am trying to figure out what to write next.

I tried to put myself into the headspace of Not!Me. That is, what advice would I give to someone in my situation who wasn't me.

And what I would tell someone with a YA agent (Hunger Games, anyone?), is that they should probably give writing YA a try.

Actually, that was my thinking last summer when I wrote FEW ARE CHOSEN for Riptide. It was my beta-test of my ability to write YA. My agent liked FEW ARE CHOSEN and thought I could probably write a decent YA.

So I've come up with this concept that features both magic and technology, set in a post-apocalyptic world. I solemnly promise it won't be the dog's breakfast it sounds like in the description.

So my question is... Can you recommend a few Dystopian YA Steampunk Fantasy with Romantic Elements?
